It seems that our Edna has gotten bit by the matchmaking bug, so it’s going to be an interesting journey to discover what shenanigans she’ll be up to in this new series. Abner was a familiar character from another series. It was good to see him get his own book. The story was funny and entertaining. It was good to see the struggle of a new marriage and how they overcome the problems. If you enjoy Mrs. Osborne books you will be rewarded dearly with Abner's Adventure.
Well Edna Petunia has turn into a matchmaker,Abner is looking for a wife and Edna finds one for him. Everything is not what he expected but with marriage there's always give and take. First book to this series looking forward to more.
This book made me laugh! Catherine and Abner are an interesting pair as they both are slightly clueless and this combination is hilarious! I enjoyed this book and watching this couple learn to understand each other.
I am so happy Kirsten is continuing to write about Nowhere, TX and it's residents. As always Edna Petunia is up to her shenanigans. So glad Abner got his story. It's is always nice to visit this town in her books. It's like catching up with old friends.
I loved the book and enjoyed having Edina Petunia back helping others. I do hope there are more books to follow.
