Review

"This wonderful book details the incredible amount of work that goes into making films such as Cars - the illustrations are brilliant, the technical details superb." -Books Monthly"With such a rich variety of visual material on display, including deleted and unused material, there's no need to pad the book out with film stills: hurrah! Plus there are full artist credits for every image used: double hurrah! Rating: 5 stars out of 5"-ImagineFX magazine"We enjoyed the book cover-to-cover and cannot recommend it enough. Between the great storyboard insights from Scott Morse (described in our video review) to the early concept artwork from the original version of the film...the book provides Cars fans a great background into the hard work and creation of the movie."-Pixar Post"If you're a serious Cars fan, you'll love this book. If you love the sleek design of a race car, you'll love this book, too."-Disney Nerds"The Art of Cars 3 is the perfect companion to any fan of Pixar and the world of Cars, and just like the actual film, should leave you in wonder and amazement at the incredible work presented in front of you. "-The Mickey Mindset"The art in the book is, no surprise, gorgeous and informative. The concept art, storyboards, pastels, and digital paintings included show the love and care that the Pixar artists put into all aspects of their work. I also enjoyed the photography included with pictures taken during the team's research trips. Captions written by Bill Cone, Jay Schuster, and others throughout the book provide wonderful background information for many of the images. Also being a fan of automobiles in general, I particularly enjoyed seeing the design evolution of the Cars 3 characters. Not only is it an animation book, it's like looking at a great automotive design book, too."-Animation Fascination

I wanted to give this book more stars, but I couldn't, and maybe that's on me. See, I have several art of books, from the Star Wars books I started with, through many Pixar "art of" books and even "The Art and Making of Peanuts Animation" (which is fantastic!). "The Art of Cars 3" has great paintings, production art, and even some pictures of sculptures, but what it doesn't have (that so many of those other books I like do) is text. It has a little, but an integral part of "art of" books to me is to tell us a lot about the pics, and the thought processes that went into the drawing/painting/sculpting of them in service to the finished movie. This book has great artwork, but I wish it had told us more about the making of. Am I sorry I bought it? No way! But it could have been so much more.

This book is fantastic, plenty of behind the scenes sketches and could have beens. I'm an illustrator myself, so this is joining my collection of "The Art of". Very pleased with my purchase!

I bought this book because of Doc. Hudson and my love of the Cars movies. My son also loves these movies and I thought this would be a really neat book to learn the overall story line. I would love to get the Cars 1 but the book is hard to come across. I love how they go into the stories and show the pictures of the though process.

Art book of behind scenes of the movie was fantastic! Recommend to all.

Great coffee table book.

Got it for Granddaughter for Christmas and she was delighted as was I.

My little boy is the biggest Cars fan in history. Thankfully all of the Cars 3 merch dropped just in time for his birthday. This book is so incredible. I didn't quite understand how nice this book would be. Definitely will be collector's item one day. Thus, I am going to make sure he keeps this book on his special shelf and takes care of it. It is not one you would want to spill a juice box on. Truly is the art of Disney Cars 3. Shows real life inspirations behind the characters, and pictures that just were inspiring to the artists like a rusty gas pump, and a waitress in a diner. Has rough story boards, and nice double paged art of lightning that looks like paintings. Has notes from artists on first drawings of new cars, and what almost looks to be blueprints of cars. Even shows clay model prototypes they made of the new cars. Most new cars have a double page poster, which my son is loving. had to tell him he wouldn't want to rip them out. IN the center there is a center fold that is 4 pages wide and has pics of all the racecars. As a person who has had to watch each car movie a thousand times with my kids, I am enjoying this, and appreciating more than my little boy can for years. In fact I can't believe this book was not made a coffee table size and cost over $100.. Just for the art canvas looking paintings are worth the price. This is a truly beautiful book, and I am proud to have it. I think it is one my son will possibly keep forever. UPDATE: just looked at book with son at bedtime. 1/4 of the way through there is a beautiful canvas looking painting of Lightning looking down over Radiator Springs at a monument tribute honoring Doc Hudson with year of birth and death. My son flipped out. I didn't know if they would replace doc with new voice after paul newman died, so I never mentioned it to him... but it was super upsetting to my son. So just fair warning... may want to tape over the monument sign. My son kept screaming and crying Doc is dead. Not fun for me, but it is it a truly lovely tribute.

same stuff as 2 prvs books. A little light on some quality shots.

I have always made bread my mothers old fashioned way... I bought a stand mixer recently to do the kneading for me... her method was a ten minute knead by hand... 2 hr rise... punch down... form... 1.5 hr rise.... and bake for 15 mins at high temp... then 45-50 mins at low temp... to say the least it was a day long project... I purchased this book the other day, and today I tried my first batch of everyday white... and wow... about two hours later, I have delicious, soft, tender, flavorful bread, with a gorgeous crispy crust... I ate almost a half a loaf myself. One batch made me four mini loaves, and twelve Cinnamon buns, without altering the recipe at all, and both were delicious. The fact that I had two successful products in one go makes the price of this book worth it... sorry mom, but your recipe might be a goner... lol

This is a paperback book that contains 61 pages of how to make homemade bread using a stand mixer. The author explains that the MAIN method used in this book works because of the type of yeast that is used in these recipes. It is called "Instant Yeast". The first 22 pages in this book will help to educate you with the basics you may need to know before you begin. Sometimes you may run across problematic issues when you make your bread that can be frustrating. This book covers how to troubleshoot most situations that you may have and it will teach you how to correct them. The next 28 pages contain 15 delicious recipes that are very easy to make . I enjoy making the breads' in this book so much that I find myself baking bread at least twice a week. If you're searching for a good book about making bread with your stand mixer I assure you that this is the one you will enjoy. Happy Baking. 😊

From a publishing standpoint: This recipe book feels self-published if not somewhat dated, such as the typeface on the cover, and there are wide margins near the binding and narrow margins along the edges, and the recipes are very slightly crooked on the page. However, that's not really what it's all about, right? From a Bread Making standpoint: The author provides some great information, especially for a beginner bread maker such as myself. The first recipe I made from this book was the healthy sounding Six-Grain Multigrain Bread, and we liked it so well, I've made it several more times (I add extra flour in order for the dough to form a ball). In fact, we like it so well that I've not yet tried any of the other recipes yet! This bread turned out a little dense which bothered me for...oh, about 5 minutes. I make the recipe into two loaves, and cut and freeze one loaf with the pieces in small baggies so I pull just a few pieces out of the freezer at a time. Now I'm on a mission to find the perfect loaf pan, I have one great double-walled insulated pan and can't find another like it.UPDATE: I've now tried the Honey Wheat Bread recipe...awesome! No alterations to the recipe were needed, the bread has a wonderful lightly crunchy crust, and then the bread itself wonderfully soft. I didn't think I would like this better than the multi-grain, but I think I might. What a treat! (Though the multi-grain will still likely be my preferred recipe as it's got so many healthy grains).

Finally something practical and succinct!Mary Ellen Ward has got great advice on how to fit fresh bread into a busy schedule. I love that there isn't a lot of fluff about why you should do it either, she rightly assumes that if you are looking up books on the matter you already know why. Living on a small but growing farm and being the only cook and main bread winner (pun intended) in a small but growing family, I don't have a lot of time to waste on nonsense and fancy cooking techniques.I need quick, easy, efficient and nutritious, and that is exactly what this book provides. I have already had great success with several of the recipes and I've only had the book for a few days.

As a new stand mixer user, this is the perfect book. I was intimidated by the dang mixer. Even though this book is only simplified bread recipes, it gave me the power I needed to be the Alpha dog! Before this book I thought that big butt mixer was stronger than me. This book gave me recipes I could tackle. With that, it gave me the encouragement and strength I needed to stare down the stand mixer, take charge and do more stuff. Kudos to Mary Ellen Ward!

The first white bread recipe is worth the price of admission! From start to in-the-oven took a bit over an hour, the biggest part of that time was rising in pans. I can't recommend this too highly. Like so many of you who are reading, I have shelves of cook books...but this is the 'bread' one I would grab in case of a need to save one thing and RUN! The author is concise, well versed and has a flair for writing that makes you want to bake each suggested recipe. I used to bake all our bread when the five little ones were little, but it became a chore and too time consuming. Today I used my Bosch Compact Mixer ( a jewel !) and it did all the work I just added everything at once and read while it kneaded for me! You will be thrilled with your purchase if you buy this.

I have a vast collection of cookbooks and baking books, but I use this one the most frequently. I bake breads from this book three or four times per week, as my son has severe food allergies and we must make much of his food from scratch. I love how thorough and well-written this guide is - the author includes instructions for freezing the bread dough as well as a plethora of adaptations (for example, how to make garlic twists from the basic white bread dough). We are vegan, and the recipes are easily adapted- simply sub olive oil for the lard or butter (and the author includes notes on such fat substitutions). For breads that call for eggs, for each egg called for, we use a tablespoon of ground flaxseed mixed with three tablespoons of water and left to sit for five minutes. I love this book for its clarity and reliability- these are our go-to, fast, easy, everyday bread recipes. Photo is of multigrain rolls before baking.

About the Author

Bhakti Mathur, private banker by day, mother to Shiv and Veer (seven and five years old) and an avid delver in Indian mythology at all other times is the creator of the ‘Amma Tell Me’ books – a series of picture books about Indian festivals and mythology for children in the three to nine year age group. She wrote and self-published her first book, “Amma Tell Me About Holi!” in 2011 and over the next three years, the series has grown to eleven books on the festival of Diwali, the Hindu epic Ramayana and stories about the Hindu gods, Krishna, Ganesha, Hanuman and the goddess Durga. “The real motivation for writing the ‘Amma Tell Me’ series was to share with my sons the fascinating stories from Indian mythology that I had grown up with,” says Bhakti. “But, I found that there were no resources that were simple to understand and that captured the rich imagery of mythological India that is such an integral part of these stories for me. So I went ahead and started writing the stories in a style that I think kids find fun and non-preachy and collaborated on the illustrations to bring out the imagery that I want my stories to convey.” Bhakti grew-up in Delhi. She studied at Modern School Vasant Vihar. She obtained her graduate degree in Economics and her post graduate degree in Finance from Delhi University. She is a CFA charter holder. She currently works for a major Swiss Bank and lives in Hong Kong with her husband, their two sons and their two dogs. Bhakti is a committed writer ambassador for Room to Read, a global non-profit which offers holistic literacy and girls’ education programs. An avid reader, a long-distance runner and a yoga enthusiast, when not working or running after her boys, she is happiest curled up with a book in her hand and a hot cup of chai.

Merci Suarez was such a cute read! My 11-year-old son and I both read and loved it. I'm a sucker for books about family and identity, and this was one such book. I instantly found myself rooting for Merci and truly felt her joys and disappointments. Medina does a wonderful job crafting characters we care about and delivering plenty of heartfelt moments.

This is quite simply as good as middle grade fiction gets. It’s a very deserving winner of the Newbery Medal, as it pulls us into the lives of an immigrant family and the struggles of a young girl trying to find her place in a school we’re popularly and money carry weight, and she has neither. At home she has to deal with strict parents and the idea that grandparents grow old in a way that we’re not always ready to except. This is what you want your child to read.

I love Merci! A beautiful read, especially for those of latinx descent. Meg Medina writes so fluidly, Merci quickly becomes and close friend. You’ll be rooting for her, and all her flaws, the whole way!

Newberry award winners are a guaranteed good read

Merci Suarez is a delightful book for middle school students that deals with the changes and challenges of being a tween. Merci and her brother Roli are scholarship students at a posh private school in Florida, a situation that includes its own challenges, including extra community service hours. The author has done an outstanding job of depicting life in middle school and in a multi-generational family. Merci has to try to fit in, has her first crush, and has to deal with her beloved grandfather’s health issues. Other themes that the author does a good job of addressing are the idea of rich versus poor and how important family is. Edna Santos is the bully in the novel and is portrayed realistically, as are the teachers in the book who touch Merci’s life. The Spanish language is used throughout the book, in a descriptive and natural conversational style. Merci is a likable young lady with a lot of challenges and a message for other tweens during puberty and facing the regular problems in middle school.DisclaimerDisclosure of Material Connection: I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and from Netgalley. The biggest overall thread here is change. This is a pretty family-focused book. There's a lot going on with school and friend groups, but Merci and her family are at the heart of the book. Merci's grandfather is changing, and that's affecting the whole family, including Merci -- they're all worried and busy and having to take on extra responsibility.Merci's still trying to figure out friendship at her school. She's been there for a year, but most of her classmates have been there much longer, and she still feels very out of place. The rules/"rules" are also changing on her with the switch to middle school and with puberty.I appreciated that Merci didn't show romantic interest in anyone here but that the book still dealt with crushes as something affecting the dynamics of classes and groups at school. And Merci trying to figure out what liking and love *are* (in watching/talking to her aunt, her classmates, and her brother) was really relatable. The one thing you might expect of a sixth-grade story that this doesn't handle is switching schools; the school appears to be K-12. Merci did go to a different elementary school, but she moved over to this school in 5th grade. But her year is new to switching classes and teachers, which comes up as something new and different (and sometimes a hard adjustment for Merci).CW: memory loss, car accident, sports accident, bullying.

Do you love a great coming-of-age tale featuring a memorable character who's all too easy to relate to, Esteemed Reader? If so, Merci Suárez Changes Gears will truly change the gears of your heart. Did that metaphor work? No? Forget it, let's keep going.Make sure you find your way back here on Wednesday as we'll have the great fortune to be joined by author Meg Medina who will be the next distinguished author to face the 7 Questions, and she will change the gears of your writer's mind. So don't miss it:)Merci Suárez Changes Gears will make you laugh and cry in nearly equal amounts. It's a charming story that's about a lot of things, as is life, but mostly it's about an adolescent girl going through the agony of puberty in a way that made me cringe recalling my own experiences as well as watching my siblings go through that terrible trial of life.Recently, Little Ninja and I kept a caterpillar in a jelly jar long enough to watch it cocoon for a few days before we released a beautiful butterfly. It was majestic. The transition of a human from a child to a teenager is considerably less so:"You're not supposed to smell good when you're playing outside," I grumbled, but Tia Inez wouldn't listen. She dumped the whole basket of powders, razors, and deodorants at the cashier's counter just the same."Merci, a young lady takes care of herself," she said, hand over her two-for-one coupons. "Like it or not, it's time."Time for what, exactly? I wanted to know, but I didn't dare ask.Esteemed Reader, my sixth and seventh grade years were the worst years of my life (and hopefully will always remain so, their ranking unchallenged). A big part of what made them so miserable is that my grandmother's health declined severely and then she died. Typing that sentence just now tore a leak in a carefully preserved packet of sorrow I usually avoid opening and am now quickly resealing because I have things to get done today. One reason we read stories is to drain the build-up of emotion that accumulates over the average human life. Having a cry at a book or a movie or the new Spider-man video game (so awesome, and so sad) keeps those emotional packets drained to a maintainable level so we're not overwhelmed and can go about living our life without openly weeping at the tragedy of humanity's mortality. Here's my point made better in the text:Children don't need to hear life's ugliness. There's plenty of time for that. I've heard Abuela say that before. She hates when books and movies that Roli and I watch are sad or bloody. But that's so dumb. Plenty of sad things happen to kids all the time. Your dog dies. Your parents split up. Your best friend dumps you for someone better. Someone sends you a mean snap message.Let us ***giggles obnoxiously*** change gears, and get back to the book. Without spoiling, Merci Suárez Changes Gears will provide the reader a few opportunities to drain the build up in their emotional packets (starting to sound like I should see a doctor). Merci's grandfather, Lolo, is in declining health, and that's putting new pressures on Merci's entire family. Chiefly, it's forcing Merci to grow up faster than she'd like and to think of the world in a new way that's significantly less fun, but more nuanced than a child's perspective. Also, we're going to talk a little about money and social class in a moment, because 1. I love talking about those things, and 2. It's a huge part of this story. But first, let us appreciate Merci's unique family situation. I'd argue that what Merci lacks in material wealth, she makes up for some with the wealth of family (not that you can buy a new bike with that):Mami only marked the cheapo basic package, and I happen to know (because it said so in gigantic font on the letter we got at home this summer) that picture day at Seaward is one of our biggest school fundraisers. You're supposed to buy a lot, like for your family in Ohio that barely knows you and whatnot. But my family mostly lives on the same block, one house next to the other. We see one another every single day.How we live confuses some people, so Mami starts her usual explanation. Our three flat-top houses are exact pink triplets, and they sit side by side here on Sixth Street. The one on the left, with the Sol Painting van parked out front, is ours. The one in the middle, with the flower beds, is where Abuela and Lolo live. The one on the right with the explosion of toys in the dirt, belongs to Tia Inez and the twins. Roli calls it the Suárez Compound, but Mami hates that name. She says it sounds like we're the kind of people who collect canned food and wait for the end of the world any minute. She's named it Las Casitas instead. The little houses. I just call it home.Merci is going through lots of changes and she attends a schmancy private school full of kids with money who are also going through changes, because adolescents in puberty are so terrible, no one wants to be around them but other adolescents (and frequently not even them), so we as a society have determined to keep them centrally located where they can just go be miserable together and leave the rest of us alone:)Merci and her brother attend Seaward on a scholarship, so that in addition to the usual feeling of no one understanding that accompanies puberty, she's stuck in a place where most of her richer classmates really don't understand. They can try out for the soccer team because their parents can afford the cost of playing accompanied with the loss of a built in babysitter. But Merci has to watch her younger cousins and help out with her father's painting business, which totally sucks and isn't fair at all.A lesser author might invent a way for Merci to suddenly become rich (like, say, meeting their really rich cousin, Banneker Bones for the first time). Meg Medina is more responsible than that. Without giving the whole thing away, Merci's journey is to grow up and appreciate the good things she has without focusing on what she lacks. She also learns the importance of putting the needs of her family above her own needs, which is a lesson too many adults still haven't learned. There's a literal plot element of Merci saving to buy a new bike, but the gears she's changing are the metaphorical ones in her mind. What Meg Medina does most successfully in this novel, aside from ripping out her reader's heart, is to put us in the mindset of Merci, who's beginning to notice darker things about the world around her for this first time:I creep closer to the cruiser as Mami talks, being careful not to make any sudden moves the whole way. Cops are community helpers and all that, but a billy club and gun don't ever look very friendly.Although it's not the main thrust of the novel, a lot of what Merci is noticing as she mentally changes gears is how fundamentally unfair life in America is. For example, she's invited to a party and told it's a big deal because the host's dad owns a yacht dealership, so she should be thrilled. And there are plenty of other harsh realities for Merci to notice along the way:Seaward's gym is ginormous, so it took us three whole days to paint it. Plus, our school colors are fire-engine red and gray. You know what happens when you stare at bright red too long? You start to see green balls in front of our eyes every time you look away. Hmpf. Try doing detail work in that blinded condition. For all that, the school should give me and my brother, Roli, a whole library, not just a few measly textbooks. Papi had other ideas, of course. "Do a good job in here," he insisted, "so they know we're serious people." I hate when he says that. Do people think we're clowns? It's like we've always got to prove something."Canned? Is this all you have?" Tia asks.Abuela gives her a withering look. "¡Por Dios! Yes, it's all I have, and there's nothing wrong with it. You were raised on leche evaporada!""But the twins only drink fresh milk. You know they're picky about food.""The twins aren't on social security, Inez."(in regard to a hospital - MGN) But Abuela's on a roll, and her voice is getting louder. "And why doesn't anybody make house calls anymore? How are two ancianos supposed to get all these appointments? Those silly shuttles that never come on time? And I don't even want to start to tell you about the cost. They charge you the eye on your face, and then they use it to pay for their fancy lobbies with the waterfalls and fish tanks."And that's where we'll leave it, Esteemed Reader. Merci Suárez Changes Gears is an entertaining and moving novel that's perfect for kids in adolescence and anyone who remembers having gone through the same thing.Don't miss Meg Medina's interview on Wednesday. As always, I'll leave you with some of my favorite passages from Merci Suárez Changes Gears:I ignore them as best I can and take my turn.I sit on the stool exactly the way the photographer says: Ankles crossed. Torso swiveled to the left and leaning forward. Hands in lap. Head tilted like a confused puppy. Who sits like this, ever? I look like a victim of taxidermy. If you want to know all the ways you can be tragically hurt in everyday life, just talk to Abuela. She keeps a long list—and she doesn't mind sharing details."Get back from the canal," she yells whenever one of us kids wanders too close to the fence behind our house. "An alligator will close its jaws on you and drag you to the bottom!""Put shoes on!" she'll say whenever I'm barefoot. "You'll get worms in your belly the size of spaghetti.""No offense, Merci, but you're a wreck."I squeeze my eyes shut, trying not to let my eye stray. It's only Edna being Edna. I should be used to it by now. No offense, Merci, but you're singing off-key. No offense, Merci, but I want to study my spelling words with somebody else. It took me a while to figure Edna out last year, but I finally got wise. No offense is what Edna says right before she takes a hatchet to your feelings. The patio already looks like a toy chest detonated.I look at my pen pal assignment: Lena, who sits in the front row and cracks her knuckles. I don't really know her because this is our only class together. Plus, at lunch, she usually reads by herself outside. She got a spiky haircut over the weekend, though, with the ends dyed blue. She looks a little like a hedgehog."Things happen over time, Merci," Mami finally says. "We grow up and older. We need to respect how things change and adjust."Her words jumble out of her mouth and make me angry. "What are you talking about?" I say, cutting her off. "It's all blah, blah, blah. Nobody will tell me what's really wrong!"

Isaac Weishaupt shoes the path we are on and offers some ways to get off of it. The leaders who are taking us down this path are in it for their own benefit, and have become enamored with the dark side, believing it will make them more powerful. Unfortunately for them, while Lucifer will use them he doesn't share his power with anyone and they will join us on the path they wish us to go. The,Lord Jesus warned us of this time and we seem to be marching into it with our eyes closed, not wishing to believe in this path. While some consultancy theorists seem to be more in tune with making us afraid, Mr. Weishaupt just lays out his research and shows us what he had discovered. I have read all of his books and he has shown himself to be a thoughtful person who was drawn into this. Therefore, his ideas are truly ones to read and think about. Definitely a very good book.

I consider Isaac Weishaupt (aka “The Illuminati Watcher”) to be a foremost intellectual master when it comes to discovering, and interpreting the secret signs and language of the so-called “Illuminati.” As the author of books, on-line articles, and YouTube videos on this subject, he is one of the few people I truly trust when it comes to discussing this inherently incredulous subject. He is a masterful communicator. However, while (at the time of this review) everyone gave “The Dark Path” a 5-star rating, I’m rating it 4 stars; not based on subject matter, or Weishaupt’s writing style, but on content organization. To best illustrate this, here’s the book’s summary, as posted in Amazon.com:“THE DARK PATH is considered Isaac Weishaupt's magnum opus; a result of many years delving into the recesses of occult dogma. Using cited references to occult literature from the likes of Aleister Crowley, Helena Blavatsky, Kenneth Grant, Jack Parsons and Alice Bailey; Isaac provides a fundamental exploration of the occult belief system and alternate version of history. Utilizing familiar examples from pop culture, film, music, and television; Isaac proves the "Illuminati" agenda to steer humanity down a path of Luciferianism by inserting symbolism that speaks to, and manipulates, our subconscious minds. Demonstrations of occult symbols, predictive programming, and ritual magick concepts will be evident as the reader sees the connections made between Disney, The Beatles, Star Wars, Rihanna, Led Zeppelin, Jay-Z, Katy Perry, HBO's Westworld, Harry Potter, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the Alien films, Batman, Ancient Aliens, comic book super heroes, and many more! This work carves out a distinction between witches, satanists, magicians, occultists and the New Age, while proving the connected desires to usher in Crowley's Aeon of Horus as the New World Order. Using concepts from Gnosticism, Freemasonry, Alchemy, Kabbalah, and ceremonial magick; Isaac explains Hermetic axioms such as "As above, so below" from which many occultists subscribe to mental emanations that can be used to create reality. They are all part of the Evolution of Consciousness that is being used to push mankind down the path of obliteration through transhumanism, which promises the alchemical pursuit of immortality. NASA, Adolf Hitler's Nazis, and Ancient Alien theorists are using Darwin's theory of evolution to assert the superiority of alien life forms. A coordinated effort of science-fiction beliefs is being conducted to put us in direct contact with these demonic deceptions. The unsuspecting masses will be shocked to find out the "Illuminati" savior of Lucifer and his desire to put us into the transhuman digital matrix; ultimately destroying God's creation by "evolving" us into the next entity: a globally connected digital form of consciousness. Isaac shares personal tales of Faustian bargains as well as experiences with radio shows that helped confirm his world view of the frequency battle for our souls; and this book is a testament to those observations. "The religion of the ancients is the religion of the future." -Helena Blavatsky Website publisher of IlluminatiWatcher.com and top 5% Amazon author; Isaac Weishaupt has been on the leading edge of conspiracy theories surrounding the elusive “Illuminati” and its infiltration of the entertainment industry. Using examples of familiar pop culture and works of entertainment, Isaac has been speaking and writing about the occult from a unique perspective that seeks to understand the big agenda while helping others along the way. Isaac has been a featured guest on Dave Navarro’s “Dark Matter Radio,” BLACKOUT Radio, Richard C. Hoagland’s “Other Side of Midnight”, SIRIUS/XM’s The All Out Show, The HigherSide Chats, Freeman Fly’s “The Free Zone”, Mark Devlin’s “Good Vibrations”, VICE, COMPLEX Magazine, and many more radio shows and podcasts. His fresh perspective and openly admitted imperfections promotes the rational approach to exploring these taboo subjects and conspiracy theories.”So what’s wrong with this? Nothing, if “The Dark Path” were a 2,000-page book worthy of the title “magnum opus.” Sadly, cramming all that information into a 270 page book defeats the mission that this ambitious book hopes to accomplish. There is too many subject and reference tangents packed together that after a short time everything just fragments apart. If you can honestly read the above book description and not have problems in comprehending what’s really important about this book, then you’ll have no problems reading “Dark Path.” But I did.Weishaupt throwing subjects onto pages haphazardly is like shooting a shotgun blindfolded, and hoping something gets hit. Sometimes it does. Most of the time it doesn’t.Maybe because I’ve previously read most of Weishaupt’s other books and articles, reading “Dark Path,” feels like major sections were copied (or at least heavily paraphrased) from the other Weishaupt creations. It gave me the same feeling I had as a kid when I bought the “Marvel Comics’ Holiday Issue” only to find that 4 out of the 5 featured stories were repeats from the previous year. This is a complicated subject, but Weishaupt sometimes gets bogged down by turning his narrative into “Psychology 101” with overused references to people like Carl Jung and Friedrich Nietzsche. Important stuff to be sure, but at times it seems that we readers are flies on fly paper: hopelessly stuck in sections with pedantic, useless information. Now before you jot off hate mail to me, let me also tell you that while I am a harsh reviewer – just ask my kids – I am doing so not to be mean-spirited but because someone as talented as Weishaupt needs someone to tell him the honest truth about his latest creation. The fact is that while I had problems with how he organized his book, it does contain invaluable information not easily found elsewhere. In that regard, “Dark Path” succeeds spectacularly.Specifically:1. “The Dark Path” shows a linear path between the occult philosophies and teachings of Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Golden Dawn, Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons, NASA, The Church Of Satan, the counter-culture of the 60’s, and how it evolved into our present convoluted present day society.2. “The Dark Path” shows the connection between all these “characters,” and how they interacted with each other to create the foundation of our current New World Order (NWO); a society where the “media” is more important than the “message.”3. “The Dark Path” successfully shows how subliminal communication, predictive social programming, violations in an individual’s privacy, and the forcing of political correctness have been detrimental to previous social norms and the beginning of the Crowley’s “Aeon Of Horus,” the New Age’s “Age Of Aquarius,” or the Christian’s “End Times.”4. More than any other book, “The Dark Path,” distinguishes between what most people refer to as “Satanism” and another branch of the left-handed path: “Luciferian Doctrine.” While I know that many left-handed practitioners still dress in Goth costumes with deer horns pasted on their heads, the Luciferians have taken a more “intellectual” approach to devaluing society and morality. “Why fight God, when you can become God?” They say that they may, or may not believe in physical demons, but they do crave the power and forbidden knowledge that these entities willingly want to give us. In this age, where many demand instant gratification, crave notoriety and fame, and see themselves as the center-of-the-universe – ala Korean Air’s "It's all about you" commercial – these people are quickly becoming the majority. And with that, there is a shift to redefine ourselves as a species. Like the fictional “X-Men,” we are becoming “homo superiors” with issues pertaining to pansexuality, cosmetic transgendering, DNA doping, and cybernetic transhumanism. Watch out God, because if you’ve got the money, you now can become anybody, or anything you want. Can you say “Tower Of Babel” or “Sodom And Gomorrah,” because I certainly can?So in summary, I didn’t enjoy reading “The Dark Path,” but it was something I needed to read. It’s hard to read about how far the world has slipped even in the time-frame of my life, but hopefully for many of us, it is a good “wake up call” if now not too late. I recommend this book, and urge you to read it.– Al Willen, Religious DemonologistPOSSIBLE CORRECTIONS:Page 27, et al: "In fact, Jung directly related the two in Psychology And Alchemy in which he reveals the relationship of the alchemists' Great Work and individuation."The term “Great Work” is used frequently in this book, but it should also be pointed out that the term also has a positive definition when used to describe the mission of Demonologists and Exorcists (“The Work,” “The Great Work.”)Page 192: "The meeting was immortalized when Fleming used Crowley's likeness to create the villain of the first Bond movie, Casino Royale as Le Chiffre shortly after Crowley's death."Actually, the first James Bond movie was not “Casino Royale,” but “Dr. No.” (“Casino Royale” was the first Jame Bond Book.)Page 198: "Like other science-fiction tales, they show us an alternate world with men and women that possess supernatural abilities."The word “Supernatural” is almost always misused. Only God (aka The Creator) can be considered “Supernatural (i.e. beyond nature). In our physical reality, everything we perceive to be “real” is “Natural.” And every other metaphysical creature (i.e. angels, demons, elementals, etc.) are considered to be “Preternatural.”Page 227: "On a related side note- some of the New Age Ancient Astronaut types were predicting a cataclysmic event to occur in December 2012, based on the teachings of Zechariah Sitchin. They believed a hidden planet called Nibiru was to come closest to Earth on its 26,000-year cycle."Several notes on this page:* Should read “Zecharia Sitchin” not “Zechariah Sitchin.”* The fictional planet “Nibiru” has a 3,600 year long elliptical orbit, not 26,000 year long orbit.* People have been predicting celestial catastrophes since the beginning of time. In our lifetime, most of us have witnessed the passing of Halley’s Comet, and the Hale Bopp Comet. As far as I can tell, the world is still spinning.* I think it’s also important to note that December 21, 2012 corresponded to the Mya’s calendar end, and therefore a predicted end-of-the-world. Yep, we’re still here.Page 247 (Special Thanks): Prodigy (R.I.P.)Does this refer to the Interactive Computer Service, the musical group, or something else?

I would like to start off by saying that this is probably the first review iv giving for a product iv purchased online as terrible as that sounds and should tell you how much iv enjoyed this book.I started getting into conspiracy theories recently with things going on in the world and as i started seeing Bill Cooper videos pop up. After a few weeks i stumbled upon Issac and his work with conspiracy theories and really took interest in it. I started with his pod casts, Conspiracy Theories and Unpopular Culture, and listened to every one of them.Looking for more info i finally shelled out the money and purchased the audio he made for The Dark Path, which is great cause i can listen to it for hours at work. I finished the book in a day and a half at work. With that being said i know for a fact that i will be listening to it again by next week to pick up on even more than i did the first time. I could not stop listening to it, the amount of information and mind opening ideas he has in this book are astounding. What i really enjoy about listening to his ideas and research is he doesnt force or tell you how to think, he simply states his facts and research and gives you his input and allows you to ultimately decide what you want to believe.I really couldnt say enough good things about this person and book. Id recommend this to someone new in conspiracy theories or an expert on the topic. The audio is a great way to listen to it if you have a busy schedule, and to me is worth it especially to support Issac and what he does for the people.

I've read a few books in reference to this subject. I thought I knew just about everything but I soon realized I didn't. This book fills in the details. The author definitely did his research. When I started reading the book, I couldn't put it down. I literally finished it in two days. This book is by far the best on this topic. It was interesting, compelling & thought provoking. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely love the way Isaac writes his books. If you truly want to learn about the occult, aliens, and the Illuminati then this is your best bet. The writing style is easy to read and it flows for an easy understanding. References are there for all the pieces that he has put together and this is his greatest book to daye👍! Definitely buy this book!!

This is a great book for someone new to the symbolism and theories of the illuminati, or if you know a little but would like more understand on the information. I like to listen while I work and the narration was smoothly spoken, it felt like Isaac was just a friend, chatting away while I worked. I couldn't wait until the next chapter. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for more details on the symbolism in reference to the music industry, illuminati and the beliefs of the luciferian & Satanic religions.

Being a people manager, I'm constantly receiving material on how to become a better leader. Personal development is one of my favorite things to focus on. When I decided that I wanted to venture out and learn more about project management, I happened to stumble upon this read. Immediately, I was grateful for the way all of the content is laid out in an organized and understandable way. The reading was quick, easy, and most importantly- IT WAS RELEVANT. I feel like this was a great first pick for diving into the world of project management.

One of the first books about project management that I have read that finally talks about how you can scale your Project Management career and earning potential! 99% of most PM books talk about the top skills you need to have like communication and industry specific skill in oil & gas or IT, but this book gets to the meat of answering the question "I am already a PM so what is my next move to advance further in my career"?I would recommend this book to anyone that is serious about PM from a entry level up to a expert. The way everything was broken down in a simple way makes you have that moment of clarity since the steps are articulated precisely. In this book, LT Patton allows you to really turn to any page and find pieces of gold all along the way.

We live in such a completive world where it is difficult to stand out and truly maximize our potential in our career. I'm always looking and reading about how can I move further into my career...This book gets into some of the reason why and also provides some very practical steps for all of us to implement in our daily life so that we can truly become all that we can become! Good read and worth the purchase!
